Accounting

The Accounting department, located at 5-940 CC, is responsible for budget, financial statements, gift and grants reporting, state registrations, and provides BANNER support for the Business Office. Some of the services Accounting provides include:

BANNER Support:
Provide BANNER administration software support with accounting expertise. 

Budget:
Prepare Kettering University's budget and the control of expenditures.

Cash and Investments:
Investment Accounting and liaison with various banking representatives.

Financial Statements:
Prepare monthly Financial Statements for distribution within the University.

Five Year Forecast:
Prepare Kettering University's five-year forecast.

Gifts:
Gift Accounting and distribution of receipts.

Grants:
Assist faculty and staff in grants administration.
Assign restricted and project index numbers.

State Registrations:
Ensure the University is in compliance in those states we do business.
