Financial Aid Loans

Applying for loans may seem confusing at first because college loans can come from a number of sources. Some are based on need, others are not. Their repayment schedules vary. Before you apply, read the details of the loan types carefully to make sure you and/or parents qualify. Our financial aid specialists are always available to answer any questions you might have.

Some of the most economical loans, like Stafford and PLUS loans, come from Federal Education Loan Programs. If you are thinking that loans might be a part of your financial aid mix, you should apply for federal loans first, before exploring Non-Federal Alternative Loans. Alternative loans like the Key Loan and the Sallie Mae Signature Loan are long-term, meaning their repayment can be completed well after you graduate.
