Kettering University recognizes that all of its students are extraordinary achievers!

Upperclassmen have opportunities to apply for individual Kettering scholarships. Some are need-based, but many are not. Individual scholarships and requirements:

Think you've got what it takes to be eligible for a Kettering scholarship?

Please follow these steps when completing application.
  • Please review the scholarship criteria carefully before applying to make sure you are eligible.
  • U.S. students applying for scholarships that list financial need as a criterion must complete the FAFSA.
  • Any application received after the deadline will not be reviewed.

Four different grants-federal and state and university-funded-are available to Kettering freshmen and/or upperclassmen. Grant Aid tells you what they are and who is eligible.

The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program

Students interested in a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering are invited to apply to the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program. In the spring of 2009, the Foundation will award scholarships to students who will be college juniors or seniors during the 2009-2010 academic year. In order to be considered for an award, students must be nominated by their institution. The submission deadline for all 2009 nominations is before 5:00 p.m., central time on January 30, 2009.
