Welcome to the Office of Multicultural Student Initiatives (OMSI)

Our primary responsibility is to provide support services to enable minority students to make a smooth transition to Kettering University and engage in meaningful activities to promote their intellectual, social, emotional and professional development.

A major program component of the Office of Multicultural Student Initiatives is the Select Student Support Services Program (4-S). With funds provided by the Department of Labor & Economic Growth, King-Chavez-Parks (KPC) Initiative, this program is designed to enhance student retention through new teaching and learning paradigms.

The Office of Multicultural Student Initiatives is located on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center in Room 3-300, with operating hours of 8 a.m - 5 p.m. daily.
